Join Debate Club at WHS!

WHS Speech and Debate prepares a variety of speech and debate events for competitions throughout the competitive season.  Led by Mr. Carlson and Mr. Berryman, we seek to train speakers style, etiquette, and competitive drive in pursuit of local, state, and national recognition. We meet every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:45-5:00.

Debate Club's aim is to empower students with the skills of expressing their beliefs clearly and concisely, public speaking and effective communication in a formal setting, and staying aware of current events in the world
